CHICAGO, IL - November 26, 2012 - Continuing the tradition of creating innovative culinary apparel, Chefwear is introducing six new styles and two new pants patterns today, including the veggies pattern in support of Veggie U. Chefwear began the trend of providing more comfortable and stylish culinary apparel to meet the needs of chefs everywhere and continues to do so with the addition of more lightweight chef jackets in both the Three-Star and Four-Star lines. These lightweight versions are designed to provide greater breathability to an already durable chef coat. Chefwear also introduces two new jacket styles to its women’s line, both featuring premium fabrics - A lightweight seersucker and a luxurious brushed cotton. Along with the new jacket styles, a waist and bib apron without pockets as well as a fun, new pair of donut pattern pant have been added. “We draw inspiration from the needs of chefs as well as customer requests, the latest fashion trends and new apparel technology” said Chefwear Founder, Rochelle Huppin. “Chefwear was founded on the idea that in order to create the very best chefs clothes, we must understand the daily routine and needs of a chef. This way of thinking has allowed us to continue to serve the culinary community with the most stylish and comfortable culinary apparel.” |
Chefwear is also honored to announce its support of Veggie U and the release of the Spring 2013 catalog featuring the 10th Annual Veggie U Food & Wine Celebration at Chef’s Garden in Huron, OH. Chefs from all across the United States came together to support the Veggie U cause, which aims to educate children on the importance of a healthy diet. To show its own support, Chefwear has added a veggies pattern to its Patterns With A Purpose collection and will give a portion of the pattern’s sales back to Veggie U to help put Earth To Table kits in classrooms nationwide. “Chefwear has joined the growing ranks of those interested in helping children fight the battle of obesity and diabetes by coming to our summer Food & Wine fundraiser to photograph the next catalog series,” said Chef’s Garden and Veggie U Founder, Lee Jones.”This series features those great chefs who volunteered their time and culinary artistry to raise money for the Veggie U program.” About Chefwear Contact: Mallory Green Contact: Carol Mueller |
