Charitable Giving
Since the day Chefwear began, people who value and enjoy the culinary arts have turned to us to help them make the most of their culinary experience.
These same people also look to Chefwear to support causes that we are uniquely positioned to impact. That is why Chefwear's charitable outreach is guided by two strategic priorities: eliminating hunger and culinary education.

Chefwear is a proud supporter of The James Beard Foundation through our sponsorship of the annual The James Beard Foundation Awards. The James Beard Foundation is at the center of America's culinary community and is dedicated to exploring the way food enriches our lives through educational initiatives, food industry awards, a national food conference, the Leadership Awards program, culinary scholarships, and publications.

Chefwear's founder, Rochelle Huppin, is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park, NY, 1987). She is a Fellow and ardent champion of the college, its students and its core values of excellence, leadership, professionalism, ethics, and respect for diversity. Through Rochelle's Fellowship and Chefwear's sponsorship of events, we help to fund scholarships, strengthen academic programs, and provide for facilities and technology enhancing the quality of education and the lives of students on CIA campuses.

Chefwear is passionate about the work of Share Our Strength to end childhood hunger by 2015 and give kids a chance to learn, grow and thrive. Our support of the Food Arts BBQ at the NRA Show, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and the New York Wine and Food Festival every year benefits the Share Our Strength programs in the fight against childhood hunger in America.

Chefwear has enjoyed an affiliation with the Greater Chicago Food Depository going almost all the way back to beginning of our company. We are proud to give back to the community where many of the Chefwear team live and work. We remain committed to helping feed and train the estimated 808,000 hungry people in Cook County through our participation in fundraising events.

As supporters of organic and sustainable goods, Chefwear endorses the Veggie U mission to promote the well-being of children through a healthy lifestyle. Veggie U is dedicated to educating kids about making wise food choices in order to combat adolescent and juvenile disease, and understand the value of sustainable agriculture.
Patterns With A
Purpose
Chefwear's Patterns With a
Purpose is our way to use our
talents to give back. Working with a
charitable organization, our design
team creates a garment that
supporters would be delighted to
show off to their friends, family and
donors. A portion of the proceeds
from all sales of Chefwear's
Patterns With a Purpose goes
directly back to that organization's
cause. We develop every piece of
this beautifully crafted apparel to
help make a difference.

Corporate
Volunteering
As part of our corporate
culture, Chefwear promotes a
lifestyle characteristic of volunteering
that our employees embrace and
believe in. As part of our
commitment to give back, Chefwear
encourages its employees to
volunteer within their communities
and for meaningful causes both on
the national and local levels that are
personal to them.
Product Donation
Requests
If you would like to request
a product donation please submit
your request via email to Chefwear Donation
Request One result of
our ongoing support of these
causes is that we receive many
more requests than we can fund.
However, with focus we believe we
can make a much bigger difference.
