|---|
Here at Chefwear, each large department (chef coats, chef pants, chef hats, chef aprons) is broken down into even more specific categories (Premier, Five-Star, Four-Star, Three-Star) based on features and benefits . This is a helpful tool in searching for your perfect uniform. Not only can you see the break down in the Chefwear Magazine and online, but also at the product development level. Every category has a set of characteristics that are consistent across all of its items. In this series, we'll explore the four categories and help define which chef jackets, chef pants and kitchen aprons meet your needs. |

Five-Star Jackets are a hybrid of a show and working chef coat. This line offers a roomier fit and more durable fabric than the Premier line, but has more design features than the Four and Three-Star lines.
Five-Star chef coats are built with a roomy, but not bulky fit. They feature front-and-back yokes or raglan cut sleeves for greater freedom of movement in the shoulder and back. They have a slight taper at the waist and are longer than Four-Star and Three-Star chef jackets. All of the chef coats in our Five-Star line are adorned with breast patch and split sleeve thermometer pockets as well as sewn underarm vents. They also have square French cuffs that easily roll up to your preferred sleeve length. Customizations are available in the Five-Star line. Options include; fabric, pockets, button changes, addition of piping or lining, and shortening or lengthening the jacket and sleeves. Each custom chef coat is made by hand to your specifications. |
