Uniform Program Requirements
The Nordstrom Restaurant Division requires a uniform in all concepts. In the interest of having a streamlined uniform program and developing a consistent look that supports the Nordstrom brand identity, please follow these uniform program requirements. Team Member Uniforms
This table shows the complete uniform for each team member. Requirements for each apparel item can be found below and also in the Description of each item on www.chefwear.com/raam.
Chef Jackets (black)
Raam will use a black short sleeve chef jacket.
Chef and Sous Chef jackets will have a logo, name and title. The Raam logo will be embroidered on the left chest above the name and title. Chef and Sous Chef are the only titles that will be used by chefs.
Restaurant Managers are not required to wear a chef jacket. But it is an option, particularly for those who help in the kitchen frequently. Please order with a logo, name and the title Manager.
When ordering, click Add Custom Embroidery to add your concept logo, name and title. Please select the Raam logo from the menu.
Logo, name and title will not be included on Line Cook, Prep Cook and Dshwasher jackets. These jackets should be ordered ‘plain’.
Skull Caps (black)
This black skull cap is required for all back of house team members including Chefs, Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Dishwashers.
Back of the House Bib Apron (white)
This white bib apron is required for all back of house team members including Chefs, Sous Chefs, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Dishwashers.
Long Sleeve Logo T-Shirt (black)
This black long sleeve t-shirt will be used by all front of house team members including Servers, Bartenders, Bussers, Cashiers and Runners. It is also required for all Dishwashers. Every t-shirt will carry a screen printed Raam logo. When ordering, click Add Custom Embroidery to add the screen printed logo. Please select the Raam logo from the menu.
Front of the House Bib Apron (black)
This black bib apron is required for Bussers, Cashiers and Runners. This apron is not for Servers, Bartenders or back of the house team members.
Server Bistro Apron
This bistro apron is used by all Servers. It is available in white and alternatively in black. It is not for any other front of the house or back of the house team members.
More Ordering Details
Select the Chefwear Net Terms payment option to checkout. Chefwear will also email invoices to your Bill To contact (always the division analyst).
Please allow 2 weeks for delivery. If possible, order with more lead time to allow for uncontrollable events such as weather. All shipments originate in the Chicago area.
Logos are $4 each and each line of text is $2 (e.g. chef name or title). Garments in sizes 3X or larger are an additional $3. Sales tax is charged only in CA, IL and AL.
Nordstrom Employee Purchase Program
The Nordstrom Restaurant Division has arranged for special employee discount pricing on all other Chefwear merchandise (excluding clearance or sale items). When checking out online or ordering by email or phone use the code NORDSTROM to take advantage of these savings.
