There are pros and cons....

Mixed feelings about these pants... I ordered two pairs - both size small. Love the length and print. Wondering about the durability of the fabric; a little on the thin side. Great for a long, hot shift during the summer, but I'll see how long these last with normal wear and tear. The pants fit well in the hips/thighs, but the elastic waistband is quite stiff and will require multiple wearings and washings before it feels comfortable. If you're a size 10 girl like me, you might want to consider ordering a medium, not a small.

Like the pants but....

I've found some variance among patterns. The blue and olive houndstooth are great - I use them as my "dressy" chef pants. The grey houndstooth was easily an inch to long so I am into them for an extra 12 bucks to refinish. The grain look like a nice kahki but seam tore on side, pocket blew out, seam in seat blew out. Now I periodically reorder the blue, olive and European houndstooth and everybody is happy.

different pant

Been wearing chefwear pants for years, never a complaint. This latest pair, however, isn't what I am accustomed to from chefwear. The fabric is remarkably thinner than what I'm used to. It shipped from a different uniform company, perhaps that is why, but the thicker fabric I've come to expect offers a bit of protection from hot spills in the kitchen. That confidence is gone with this pair.

Nothing Better

After a wash with like colors, the shrank a bit to the perfect length. Comfort through all range of motions and looks quite good on me. Just wish it had a zipfly.

Hit or miss

I've been buying and wearing chefwears for 25 years, and over all I really like them. But, my main issue, continued with this purchase, is that every time I have purchased them the sizing and fit is completely different, even when buying the same style and same size. Sometimes they still work, sometimes I give them to someone else and buy another new pair. Challenging

Chef pants

I love chefwear products. I have 2 suggestions though: -the material used for the pants seems to be getting thinner; not as hearty as they have been in the past. -bring back more patterns for cargo pants. The current lineup seems boring. I miss the flaming skulls especially. And carrot fish needs to come back for all styles. Thanks, Chef Ed

Wearing These Pants for a Decade

I have been wearing these pants for a decade or more. I like the return to heavier fabric in the 100% cotton. I also like the deeper pockets that keeps things in. My last order promised “10% discount free shipping” I got neither, confusing at best.

Liked the Deep Pockets

I bought these for two separate employees both said they liked the deep pockets the elastic was a little tight as they seem to run a hair smaller than what they were used to. The legs weren’t quite as baggy as other brands I had purchased so they felt slightly restricted and moving bending etc. They did express a concern with what seemed like slightly thinner material and protection from spilling of hot items.
