Short Sleeve Cloth Knot Chef Coat Reviews

I have been buying this coat since 1999. If it didn't wash , hold up well, fit well and do the tireless job of prep cook, believe believe me, I would not buy it again!

Great product for top-heavy guys. Doesn't bunch around the armpit like some coats will. Cloth buttons are all but impossible to be yanked off when scraped against a doorway or dishwasher.

I have been buying chefwear coats for the better part of 2 decades. I still have coats i wear i ordered 10 years ago. For the price these are very durable and will last a long time if you take care of them.

I'm 5'11" and 175lbs. Not as skinny as I used to be, but I still like a chef coat that fits snug, but not skin tight. This is pretty near perfect. Wide shoulders and as long as the knots don't fall off before I destroy it on the line... i'll be stoked.

Nice material, well made, good fit. Am enjoying this jacket while working in the kitchen.

I just purchased two new short sleeved chef coats with cloth buttons and overall I think they will be great once broken in. I understand that the button holes will be a bit tight after delivery however the knot buttons are very loose. They sort of mash when you put any pressure on them making them difficult to push through the holes, especially the top one. I love chef wear and I’ve ordered from them for years. The customer service is great and the fit a feel of everything I’ve ever ordered has been right on. I also had these coats embroidered and the font and size of the lettering looks sharp. I’m hoping that the button holes stretch out slightly so that these coats work out 100%. May have to order the more expensive coat next time.
